Nope it doesn't. Hence the reason someone mentioned it responds very well to mods. It don't take a crap load of more money to make a tC quick dude. Go research. A simple bolt on turbo setup (3k dollars) at 8psi would put bus lengths on a 350z. 8psi is enough to walk all those cars you listed. You would have to start modding those cars then to keep up with the tC (which they already cost more to start with). Seen 10psi boosting tC take a Z on a 75shot. tC has the same suspension layout as the SI, just not as stiff.
All those cars cost more than a tC because the tC is minus the stuff those come with from the factory. If Scion had added that stuff from the factory just like those cars and made it the same price, we wouldn't even be having this conversation. But they didn't. There is no trim level and it's marketed as a blank canvas. Soon as you give it a little wake up call...it performs.
