It's not a witch hunt at all, but rather a lamentation. Someone else said it very well - we need to teach our kids to drive. Kids who learn in their parents' familymobiles can't possibly be expected to know what to do when they get in something like the 86, and it's inevitable that the car will get away from them. I've also said before that perhaps these cars should come with a voucher for a car control clinic or a track day with an instructor as is done with top-of-the-line performance cars like the R8 and the 911. These events not only make you safer, but they also make you a *much* better driver and they are lots of fun
