Some of the best, hottest, and most desired performance parts for an AE86 came from TRD, not HKS and others like it.
TRD parts had the same, if not more, engineering, quality, and performance behind them as many of their aftermarket counterparts. Thats because Toyota openly raced the AE86 back in the 80's in its respective class. All of the engineering that went into those cars were made available to the public, for a steep price mind you, but they were of extremely high quality.
TRD wide-body is still the BEST looking, and functional, body upgrade for the AE86, imo. You find one its like striking an entire mountain of gold...all to yourself.
