You're right that the driver is NOT okay but at least he wasn't declared deceased at the scene. IMO, for a car that was designed to be an "affordable sports" car and is small as it is it's lucky his passengers survived at all let alone the drive albeit he's unconscious at the moment.

I'm not implying it's a SUV tank like safe but looking at past and current cars the size of the FR-S most wouldn't past current safety standards and the people in this crash would have a higher-probable chance of dying or not being able to walk away as they did.

EDIT: JUST DON'T BE STUPID WITH YOUR 25k+ INVESTMENT. ENJOY IT. DON'T DESTROY IT.
