It could also have something to do with ease of repair after an accident. I don't really mind the length of the hood as it is in the chops, but we don't know if that's the final location of that line for the production version. Don't worry about it just yet.

Ease?! That Lip+bumper+Fenders is a combination. Lol What if you just want to change it cosmetically? Likeeeeee........ Body kit? It looks like its going to be a giant piece you take out of the box and on the car.
