These are brand new cars with stone cold engines that you can bet weren't abused at the Japanese end of the journey. The US has got plenty of people looking for jobs, especially non skilled numbers like this.
Just sack the bastards. They deserve more than that for abusing other people's property that they are being paid to look after.
I agree!! I spend the first 1,000 miles of every new car I buy, keeping an eye on everything...nuts and bolts, fluids, and performance. Then you hear about this and it's a swift kick to the nuts. However, you must take into consideration the cost of a vessel in dock...the manufacturers are charged an insane amount of money by the Terminals the moment they dock to the moment the pull away, they are being charged. So for Subaru or Toyota...the idea is to unload as fast as possible. I guess the percentage of possible failures/warranty issues due to this driving practice must be negligible in comparison?? Either way...I agree is doesn't make it right?
