And they got their info from Car and Driver. The rotary is in trouble and Mazda denies all rumors of working on an RX-8 successor....
That was their response when questioned about the 16x and a hybrid drivetrain (borrowed from Toyota in an agreement the two companies signed last year).
So it seems that the Rotary is in fact in very real danger of going away...again. |
The RX-9 is pushed back to 2013 to get the Miata out in 2012, because of the cycle is up and the FT86 release next year.
