And I still attest that Tokyo Drift can still work in the timeline because I see it as a movie with a bunch of teens given hand-me-down cars. So it's still okay to show the newest model cars in the newer F&F movies because once they get to Japan those kids aren't buying up 2008+ STI, 2010 GT-R's, 2013 BRZ's, etc.
They're driving reworked 350Z's, RX8's, Evo VI's, etc.

I felt the same way too. I'm only slightly ashamed to admit it was my favorite one. I think the main guy's accent was just a little too much for people. That and having to swallow the idea that he's a high school kid.
