I meant absolutely no disrespect. I applaud the effort. I'm just saying that these dynos *COULD* make the Injen and AIRAID look like they make more power than they really would in day-to-day use.
With the hood open, every intake will always get fresh, cool air. However, driving around town with the hood closed, this wouldn't be the case for the AIRAID or the Injen because of how they are designed. They would suck in higher temps because of the heat soak in the engine bay. This doesn't apply as much to the stock (with snorkel) and the aFe, because they suck air directly from the front bumper area with very little to no gap between.
Also, by the time the engine is fully warm (which is the only time you should beat on your car), the engine bay is already good and toasty.
