Regarding Subaru marketing RWD platforms. I can see them pushing RWD with an efficiency perspective. "All power of the BOXER engine coupled with the efficiency and maneuverability of rear wheel drive." They might even go with describing how RWD lets them put their low center of gravity BOXER engine further back to improve handling.
Then they can still differentiate their AWD systems with safety and control.
EDIT: I am praying to Treesus that a RWD GT XL Infinity+1 version makes it to the USA. Right now that is the only vehicle I possibly see myself purchasing in the near future. I am not sure I would care if it's Yota or Scooby. It would be nice to see it sold as a Toybaru, in fact if I did buy one I would make sure to badge it as such.
