I know Perrin Performance has done some research into power loss in relation to Oil Temps, so they are working on a cooler kit currently. Given they are doing the R&D in relation to this discovery and not just pumping our run of the mill "type s" or "type R" cooler kit, i would lay my dollars down with them...
Providing there is fresh airflow and no influence of other heat sources, placement isn't too much of an issue.
