The more I read your post the angrier I become. You getting F#€KED over pretty bad by Toyota/Scion.
1) Toyota has no business delivering a
single new FR-S to a dealer for a new customer until those of us waiting for parts are taken care of. Especally you. Your paitence with this situation is astounding. I lost it at three weeks, five weeks? Holy crap...
2) I would call Clayton on Monday, speak to him and them ask to speak to his supervisor and get them to put in writing to you (an email, letter, something) what their plan is to get you your ECU
next week. Ask them about getting the part from a car being delivered, paying for the part from a Subaru dealer, start thinking out of the box. If you don't get an answer that satasfies you, mail out the Lemon Law paper work the same day. After five weeks Toyota has earned the privilege of eating the cost on your $26,000 FR-S and getting you a brand new car.
Be respectful, be courteous, be aggressive. Don't be a doormat to a multi-billion dollar company.
