Muscle cars are definitely pretty cheap nowadays, but they're also efficient and aerodynamic. Look at the new Mustang. As much as it pains me to say, the new Mustang is an amazing car. Even the V-6 is a helluva buy at $23k. It's pushing over 300hp, 13.7 second 1/4miles and it does damn well on the track. All the while getting decent fuel economy(19/29).

I don't know what the collective FR-S fan base is expecting this car to get fuel economy wise, but does it REALLY matter? Just looking at the numbers, I drive my vehicles a combined 10k miles per year.

If the FR-S averages 20mpg over 10k miles and gas averages $4/gallon, I'm spending $2000 a year on gasoline.

If the FR-S averages 25mpg over 10k miles and gas averages $4/gallon, I'm spending $1600 a year on gasoline.

Do you expect to average over 25mpg in the FR-S? I hope not. Will spending an extra $400 a year, $8 a week for gas break the bank? I hope not, but if so maybe a Yaris is more up your ally.

I'm really hoping they push the FR-S into getting.. 28-32mpg. Would be really really nice. Lol Hell it'd be amazing if it pushed 30-32!
