If you have to ask probably just get the auto. There are a lot of things to look at:

1. Did you grow up driving a stick ?
2. Do you have fast reaction times.
3. Do you text while driving
4. Do you talk on the phone while driving ?
5. Do you smoke and drink coffee while driving ?
6. Do you use GPS while driving?
7. How often do you touch the radio while driving ?
8. How fast can you pull the reverse lockout and reverse out of a bad situation?
9. How long do you plan on keeping the car ?

None of these are meant to be jugdmental at all, its just what your comfortable with, that's what matters.
