My *guess* is that because a lot of AWDs in general are sold in this region the Subie dealers are getting a bigger allocation based on historical sales #'s. I bought my BRZ from CO since they were the only state on the westcoast that wasn't marking up at the time and had one in stock (no wait).

Woohoo! This means my 6AT will rise in value due to rarity! ..............JK of course

My BRZ is only 3wks old. When I was calling around at the time WA, OR, ID, UT, and especially CA were marking up BRZs (not FRSs) for any units that weren't already spoken for. I wonder if that's still the case.

BTW: For anyone on the hunt. I've been on the "list" for over 2 months now. Not the list where they take your deposit. I was on the list where if someone drops off and a car suddenly becomes available they go to this list. Well, after being on over 20+ dealer's list.. NO ONE has called me to this day. Which means the chances are slim to none if you don't take the initiative and go out there and find one on your own.
