First it's because I never bought the products and even though I love that wet/slick look of a clean tire. It just goes away after a day of driving on NYC roads - not even worth the effort.
I wash my car every few weeks, but never shined my tires. I kinda just scrub as I clean the wheels. Am I the only lazy bum out there to skip this part?

I like a clean looking tire but not the wet look that many desire.
