To me, it's not appropriate and is a definite hazard for not only the driver / passenger(s), but also everyone that shares the road with you (it is an
uncontrolled environment, therefore no one can predict what
can happen).
I've been guilty of being involved in / taking part in a countless number of incidents like this... And to control my urge and to keep me safe & sound, I spend at least $300 per month on two-day HPDE events. It has educated me, and most importantly... It has disciplined me... For the most part.
I think we can all universally agree that no one's perfect, but at the same time, there should be an
honest effort to restrain one's self from an action that is much sensitive to danger / harm.
