I didn't have to wait for the dealer after all because I randomly went on ebay and a guy in Battle Ground, WA is selling his because of health issues. It has less than 1k miles on it and seems like a nice and trustworthy guy. The cars in nearly new shape as well. I figured why wait an undertermined amount of time for my preorder I placed in June/July to show up when I can have it now.
I was lucky too because if I would have waited 15 more minutes I wouldn't have seen the auction listed on ebay because it was ending. It was more of a listing than an auction as it didn't have a bid button, just a contact seller button. The guy never registered it either so I won't have to worry about transferring registration or plates as I have my custom plates from my old car waiting.
3 months without a car is finally over!
I'm planning on going to the Woodburn drag strip Sunday late morning for the DoubleJ VW/Audi car show and drags, so if you see a red BRZ there it will be me (not draging).
