My Cobra is frameless and my Subaru were frameless and I hate it. The high pressure wash thing irritates me to no end. The door and windows need constant adjustments on frameless.
I think it has more to do with the individual design rather than being a flaw inherent to all frameless door windows. I never had a problem with them on my 10 year old Celica . However, the framed door windows in my '96 Civic (which was only 5 years old at the time) got off track constantly. To the point where I left the interior door panels off so I could put them back on track.
