I don't have any mechanical issues with FR-S. I have only minor issues like tail light condensation (you wouldn't have this problem since it's already handled at the factory line) and rear deck popping noise (there should be an easy fix by the time you get this problem). But if you have no issue with your tC1 and don't have a reason that you have to switch the car now, I'd recommend you to wait for a little longer until you stop seeing many problems popping up. But to me, FR-S feels much better to own and it was worth for me to get it even if there are chances I get problems.
