I don't miss the steering wheel audio controls. I thought I would, but the stereo in the FR-S is right there next to you, and everything you need quickly (volume, skip forward/back) is on the extreme left side of the head unit, within easy reach.
How often do you carry a lot of stuff? I found I hardly ever needed it. The tC's hatch does make it easier to get things in and out, but with the back seats in the FR-S dropped there's plenty of room back there. The rear seats in the tC are much more spacious, but are you going to use the rear seats? If not, just call the FR-S a two-seater and keep the backseat down all the time.
