The worse part about a SN95 is brake dive like you mentioned, caster/camber curve and rear end side to side movement.

-800+lb spring in the front and and a good set of double adjustable shocks/struts and 38+mm front sway bar will take care of brake dive.
-Camber and caster plate on the front tower will fix the stock dynamics.
-Rear end, two options torque arm and panhard bar, or a fays watts link.
^^ cost about $1600

Once you do these to the car it's a dream to drive, the 94-95 Mustang is said to have the best of both words. Low weight and stiff chassis, stiffest chassis til the 05+ Mustangs came out.

I have about $4000+/- just in suspension mods on my SN95 Cobra it's my toy, I run ESP class in SCCA events, my time is on par with modded Miatas and S2000s with similar mods. I squeeze 275s on stock 8" wide wheels and run 20mm spacers in the rear for more track. I guess what I'm saying is any car can be made to handle exceptionally well with money and the right person dialing in the suspension.

I really can't wait to see how balanced the car is. On paper the car seems like it's going to be nirvana on wheels when cornering. I don't like hype because when I actually sit in it and toss it around I will lose a lot of feelings because of it.
Well, technically I'd make the argument that the previous gen Foxbody mustang was actually better for racing. With the addition of a couple subrame connectors (not that expensive...) the chassis rigidity can be made EXTREMELY tight. The engine bay can handle anything that fits in the newer Mustangs (with the correct hood). And it's several hundred pounds lighter.

Full suspension on a Foxbody mustang, along with engine mods (and there is no engine on earth that enjoys a better aftermarket...) can result in quite possibly the best low cost track toy on the planet. It's pretty easy to get a 400+hp sub-3000 pound track monster out of the Foxbody platform....
