You're right at some points, but if the car is also made in the US, Subaru/Toyota USA probably help designing, developing the car. This is the reason why we see the car on the states. The data and analysis are going to be finalized by Subaru/Toyota Japan, but I still see efforts Subaru/Toyota USA and EU put in the car, not only Subaru/Toyota Japan.
