This week's (9/15) episode of Motorweek has a review of the 6AT BRZ to complete the review they did earlier of the FR-S. Before you ask, they said they reviewed the auto because that was the best way to differentiate from their FR-S review.

Bottom line, they still love the car, but preferred the MT, no real surprise there. They did the instrumented tests on the BRZ and got a 0-60 time of 7.7 seconds because they "couldn't launch it at higher RPM". My guess is they were guilty of not figuring out to use 90% brake and not full brake on launch. They mentioned a 6.6 second 0-60 for the 6MT.

In the end, they love the car.

Favorite part was them explaining it was a "sports car" vs. a "performance car" and what the difference was. Extra bonus was a lot of nice shots of a Firestorm FR-S as a comparison!

It should be on their website in 4 to 6 weeks. Seems to be about the delay time in getting the on-air stuff on the website.
