From what I can gather there's been no mention of a recall circulating around the grapevine.
The best I can tell from reading around the net there's been approximately 6000+ FT86 cars sold and somewhere around 300-600 cars affected with VVT issues so far. From the "
Cam Gear Related CELs - How many miles?" poll most of the cars affected developed the issue within the first 500 miles. There's a pretty good chance that if you've moved past that point you might be ok.
