Called SoA today, no hold time!

Guy I talked to was pretty helpful, but agreed with last month's assessment that it is going to be "after November." Two months ago it was "November, September if you're lucky." That got bumped back :/

I brought up how it bothered me that another dealership within 100 miles got an out of allocation surprise delivery that matched my order. He said he was escalating it to his manager and someone would call me back.

I feel your pain. I'm kinda nervous about having my first RWD in almost 10 years come with summer tires in a PNW winter. I'm currently 5 months in, will be 7-9 months from putting down a deposit when I get the car. I'm actually seriously considering withdrawing my deposit and knocking out my student loans with the down payment I've saved up.
