This honestly makes me believe that this may be the safest car on the road. Crash testing is one thing, but it is my firm opinion that a lightweight performance car is safer than other vehicles because of its ability to avoid collisions in the first place. This car will out-stop, out-turn, and potentially out-accelerate most other cars with high crash safety ratings.
Now, put some cold aqua on the road surface, and some of the others are the better choice, but still...
