The rods will go first in this motor because the pistons are quite strong. But running the car on pump gas will mean changing the pistons anyways to achieve a usable compression ratio. The block is fine as is the crank. Overall we like the FA motor and think its engineered correctly! The Tranny is quite small, but the car is only two wheel drive and light so that will help the tranny to live. Today we ordered some special components for our clutch package with the concept of keeping the tranny alive, there will be some serious testing to do to find the edge so we can back away from it and end up with a reliable package for the end user.
