i dont find that people who drive autos hate on the manual tranny. it just doesnt happen much. in fact you yourself say that there is some sort of respect towards it. can you say the reverse? no... on forum after forum, mag after mag, website after website, there is a unique subtle bias against autos... remember when ferrari did away with manuals? people cried bloody murder... remember when the GT-R was revealed to be dct only? cries of boycott....
so nobody is calling you a snob for driving a stick. but you
are a snob, if you hate on someone driving an auto... just sayin...
