- Heavy flywheel? This could be more of an effect from the pedal lag
- No steering wheel audio controls. Not taking hands off the wheel or eyes of the road to change tracks, volume, etc is great. Why would subaru not have this?

An armrest would be nice, the shifter is a bit too far forward for my tastes, and some lumbar adjustment in the seats would be appreciated, but I wouldn't call any of these hates.
Revised hate-list after having the car through break-in
Accelerator lag, dainty little girl clutch, heavy flywheel?, and mis-located shifter I have gotten used to, so now my other car is going to feel incredibly awkward the next time I drive it. I still don't like not feeling the clutch engagement in my leg...from a stop I just have to feel it with the car lurching forward, and while moving it's more of a faith thing.

The lack of steering wheel audio controls is annoying me far more than I thought it would...every volume adjustment and track/mode change conjures a tiny amount of anger, and I still start out trying to change these on the wheel about 1/5 times.

No holder for sunglasses is also starting to rank pretty high for me.

The cupholders as well...I didn't think I would really care, but they are sized to only fit a fatass American super-mega gulp. It's like somebody told Subaru that Americans only buy giant Sodas. For the BRZ, you would think that they could have sized cup-holders for fancy-ass coffee-sized cups. The placement in the center console is awkward if you are trying to drink from whatever is there, but I normally just use it to hold a cup of coffee to drink at my desk.

The lack of armrest is promoted to a hate. It took more driving in traffic and waiting at stoplights to surface, but it is irksome.

Still don't like the seats for long drives, but they are fine for shorter trips and hold you in place well.

So, there's my improvement list for 2014...add steering wheel audio controls, sunglasses holder, and an armrest, and I will have to trade in my car for a new one...especially if they can find some more torque hanging around.
