I couldn't justify the P-car either, sadly. Interior was bland, carpet was already looking faded (this was a 2007), same price as BRZ Limited but without nav, heated seats, etc, IMS bearing is failure-prone which means I'd want to drop the motor and spend a couple grand replacing it right off the bat, and aftermarket parts are $$$ compared to parts for the BRZ/FR-S. Lots of fun to drive, but not worth it IMO. If I had the extra few thousand or so to spring for the Cayman S, I might think differently, but if that one guy could trade his Cayman R for a BRZ and still be completely happy with it for 1/3rd the cost, I think I'd rather the BRZ given my meager budget. I might also think differently if it were going to be a weekend toy rather than a daily, but I need a daily driver.
