how are you cleaning the dash?
The top of the dashboard of my previous cars has generally been some kind of vinyl that I would typically spray with something like ArmorAll and wipe down. That cleans it and gives it a little gloss.
These cars have a kind of rubbery leather-looking stuff (not leather but it has an imprinted grain) that I haven't encountered before. Probably its vinyl, but it isn't glossy and I'm thinking the usual ArmorAll treatment won't be appropriate. What are you using? Just a damp cloth?
