Answer to this, IDK. Only Subaru knows. But thing I know is boxer engine have more stuff to worry than putting more stress on #2 & 4 cylinder. btw, #3 cylinder have higher chance of comp ratio failure than #2 & 4. Why? IDK
Number 1 thing they need to worry is crank bearing. higher the rpm goes, boxer engine have more chance of having crank bearing failure. I want to know how Toyota gonna solve this problem, cuz I'm expecting this car to at least beat GC series Impreza redline.
