Hm... that's not fully true. Look at turbo ver headers. they're uel. I highly doubt they gonna use uel just to break the engine.
yes, el header can get more hp than uel... but that's in high rpm. While low rpm uel have more hp.
My opinion, it's all up to personal. Some ppl claim uel get more hp w their setup. While some ppl claim el get more hp w their setup.
