Keep the rental dont drive the car untill the problem is fixed. Toyota should have no problems covering the rental. Toyota is aware that there is a shortage of repair parts availiable right now I curently have a car here awaiting repairs we are expecting the car will be down for about a month. We were instructed to have the customer return and provide a rental while the repairs are completed, I dont see how or why your case should be any different.
