Speaking of the a/c, I have noticed a pretty big difference in performance when I have my a/c off. Anyone else? The car just seems a bit peppier and the revs seem to drop and climb faster.

All cars with A/c are this way. Take a normal car in moutains, a/c on and a/c off it is easier to tell the power sucking cool air machine robs performance.
