If you think of a traditional 3/5 door hatch then no. But if you think more along the lines of a liftback it could. Hard to tell with all the camo on the car.

There were some good points made by matador and want.fr-s:

If you look closely on the rear window, you see that black area enclosing the window. That could mean that black area is hiding the frame inside the hatch, and the hinge will just lie within that area. This is similar to the one found in New Beetle.

Then you may say there is no enough gap between the window and the c pillar. For that, they can achieve it simply by taping over the gaps to hide that detail. In fact, if you look at the top portion of the rear window, you see a bit of camo in actually on the window itself. And there seems to be a gap on that side as well so that they need to tape it over to hide it.

As to the red circle, it MkII the trunk line and window are not flush, and that is not a good sign for a hatch door. However, that little gap can be used to direct rain water to the side if designed properly so that is not a definitive evidence.

By now you should see that I am all for the hatch, as Allch_Chcar said that if that is a coupe, the large rear window is just a waste of space.

Just a side note. No one actually points out that the rear trunk (hatch?) door is different from the Mk II. It is actually close to the FR-S (Mk III) in turns of the design. I would see this as a mixture of Mk II and Mk III, but fundamentally this is the same car from Mk I with little changes on the chassis. No need to fuss and get angry because this is still the same car with some minor changes...

Edit: actually if you look at the right side of the rear window (opposite side of the green circle), you can see a gap between the window and the chassis, and the camo tape that tapes over the sheet metal but not the window. That finding further suggests that this is a fastback rather than a trunk...

This might not be the best example but the Opel Insignia is a liftback car and the rear window/trunk section looks somewhat similar to this camo car.

Edit: so you might have something like this where the whole "trunk door" goes with the glass
