This is very simple. So Mr. Visconti can Test and write a proper Tune for use with the AIRAID Intake, not to "Fix the Problem".
He also stated he would be testing
other Intake's to possibly write tunes for those as well. This is not some big conspiracy, it's actually very normal in the performance world.
