This. Goes to show you can't please everyone. I still love the MkI, but it's hard to look at a production car looking as tame as the MkI and not think "Man, what if they had made it look like the MkIII" .

Nice job. There is a line running along the lower edge of the MkI/MKIII concepts

Lord wy can't the designers see that this in contrast with the curve on the hips (rear fenders) is what makes or breaks the design of the car?

Sheesh

I think this is the best thing we can all do. I guess we've become so confident in Toyota's ability to balls things up, we tend to worry a lot. Plus everyone is watching.

Snap oversteer

Oh well, get it right now so the morons don't go off the road backward into a tree. Better than having to neuter the car with and understeering front suspension geometry after the first model year ***cough***mr2***cough***

This reaffirms my analysis that the car appears to be mostly FT-86 II with the nose of the original FT-86 concept. Those that *hate* the front fender vent may not be in for good news down the road. Personally, I'm waiting to see all the flesh before making a final call on the aesthetics.
If the put that fender vent on the car I swear I'm going to hurt someone at Toyota's design studios.

Car should have just come out for frikkin ED2 and onto the production line.
