My FR-S slides just as well on 18x8s running Hankook Ventus tires which have substantially more grip than the prius tires, and more HP to the wheels You do NOT need "crazy HP" or a turbo, so stop preaching about your lack of ability without power. That's your preference, and your style. It's not a requirement to drift. Many others have no issues drifting in this car, long sustained drifts too, by finding the balance points, and keeping speed.

The AE86 is FAMOUS for drifting and is 250% driftable at stock. Hell with just coilovers and an LSD you can drift it even better, no extra power required. This car is the same way.
