Nice! You guys in chicago have a badass track. I told Josh(from Risky Devil) he was so damn lucky to have that place nearby a while back.

In regards to the conversation above, I'll agree with the statement of starting off small. Definitely the way to go. You'll learn more about the weight balance of the car and you'll learn to drive the car with your experience instead of your right foot. Once you have gotten to the point where you have pushed the car to the limits of it's stock power and need higher speed, more grip, more power... then, it would be a great time to do so. At that point, you have the driving knowledge and capabilities. The extra power, at that point, would just be an extra luxury. Learning to keep momentum up in this car is the key.

We've done some sliding in an FRS here 100% bone stock and it was capable. I felt that the car would benefit more with more in-depth suspension tuning as opposed to extra power. Loads of fun though.

I've been in and slid too many cars to count and I have to say, in all honesty, I actually kind of prefer the lower power. 400hp SR w/ GT3071R is badass and really grippy and fast.. but then I get in a T28 <300hp SR car and it feels so much better. It's not overdone with large amounts of power or grip. It's definitely faster and grippier, but it feels more enjoyable. That's just my personal preference though. I was debating going forced induction with this car when I got it but after messing with it in it's stock form. I can definitely see staying N/A and trying to bump up an extra 30hp or so.
