You guys know you can call him right? I am sure for most people he is waiting for something to say go ahead and do a resonator or I have an auto before he ships them. I doubt he knows what your screen name is or your phone number to call you.

Tylub A resonator is what changes the tone of the car. Traditionally they were large hollow cylinders that allowed reverberation of sound. This reverberation caused a lower tone and helped eliminate varying sound levels. Think of it as tuning a guitar, by adding a larger or smaller resonator you tune the sound of your exhaust. Today resonators are basically pre-mufflers that lower temperatures and change the exhaust note. The only true resonator in use today is the Helmholtz resonator (which this car has) that is an open air acoustic cavity.
In general bigger means more quiet but you have to take into effect quality since they are usually packed with deadening material like a muffler. SRT is going from a 4x17 Vibrant resonator to a 5x17 Vibrant resonator. Basically they are adding more packing material.
