Yruyur said, the tune does get better with time. It doesn't take a lot of time for the learning process to complete but it did take mine about 50 miles. I'm still pleasantly surprised by the tune. It is precisely how Toyobaru should have sent our cars out of the factory.
I was dead set on getting a turbo kit ASAP. Now, I think I'll just wait a while to see what the vendors can do. I don't feel like I'm in a rush to get more power into this baby. The throttle response is absolutely perfect and she just growls now. Growls all the way to redline.
