*****I have installed my tune******

I am absolutely not happy at all with Toyota and Subaru for letting the car out of the factory with the stock tune.

John has made this car into what it should have been! I have almost 7,500 miles on the stock tune so I know what I have been missing this entire time.

I cannot notice the torque curve anymore. The car is beautiful off the line and letting it climb up the rpm's. Nice and even pulling the entire way. I cannot get over the difference. It is seriously a night and day difference. I am having to learn the vehicle over again its so nice. I always had the tendency to cruise above the torque curve to be comfortable. I now find myself at 3.5k which would have been in the torque dip. But if I want to pull out of it I just give it a little gas and it nicely climbs out and up.

Shifting is amazing now around town. I would have the tendency to shift to a gear that would drop me into the torque dip making the car jerk. I was starting to feel like a noob m/t driver.

Starting off the line feels so much smoother as well making stop and go traffic much better. Instead of cruising in fifth on the freeway like I used to I feel comfortable in sixth. Even in the old torque dip range I can feather the gas to get the car to accelerate. Stock ecu was giving me 24.9 average gas mileage according to the dash, this has been for about 2k miles since my ecu swap. I will report back on mileage when I get more on her but I have a feeling its going to be much better as I'm not always above the torque dip and driving with lower rpm's. It will be interesting as I drive it a little hard.

As others have said the sound is different. You can tell its louder. My passenger even noticed it right away. It's a growl from the intake which I think was just lacking in the torque dip but continues on up from there.

Once you do the tune let it sit after starting up for about ten seconds. I let it idle for a minute. Don't be thrown off by having to apply more gas the first time either. The car is learning. I almost stalled it for the first time as I didn't give it enough gas. It did this at the red lights for a while. I notice the idle noise does seem louder as well but I can live with that.

Thank you to John for the time and effort it took. I cannot wait for the next version that has on the fly map changes. For anyone wanting this tune...stop buying other things for the car and just get this.

Wow.
