Actually my transmission shifted just fine with the OEM stuff in it, nothing out of the ordinary. With the yellow bottle it just does what it does better. Also I knew I was going to be on the track (where we heat the oil a lot) and the OEM stuff, IMHO, is not up to the task.

The 2nd reason I used the yellow bottle... The OEM stuff isn't available in the states yet AND I wanted to change my tranny fluid sooner than later for the same reason I wanted to change my engine oil. Get the break-in oil out of there.

I've stated this in a few threads now but the OEM stuff, looks, smells and feels identical to Honda Manual Transmission Lubricant.....identical. And I don't like using the Honda MTL in my transmissions, even my Honda boxes. I've been using the Yellow bottle in my S2000, my Prelude, my CRX race car and now my FRS (since it's an Aisin tranny like the s2k).
