Maybe there is something wrong with my particular unit? Nothing seemed out of place as I installed my intake at the same time I helped install @ Sony 's intake. He's been in my car before and after install and has seen the problem.
I don't understand why people won't believe me. @ Sony has seen it first hand.

This is just my personal opinion, I honestly take no sides here. My advice to you would be to just return the intake. You have already tried to make it work, but it just didn't work out. Why not just get your money back and wait a bit later and get a different brand of intake in the future?
