You were right about tasty Forester and Legacy STis never being imported into the USA, but you were very wrong about them never existing.
Whilst not being as focused at the WRX STi, both Forester and Legacy STis exist. The best of which is probably the twin-scroll 2.5 Legacy S402.
It will be built. It will be overpriced. It will be very limited. It won't be as fast as many cars on this forum.
