It will have flow losses compared to either a fully open single or twin, but they do improve spool.

No yea I understand what you're saying. I'm saying when the valve is open, the twin entries are useless.
BMW or Subaru need to hurry the f*** up with their electric turbo thing, it makes the nerd in me cry when I see the tiny donut sized turbos that cars come with
