I don't think id miss anything from a manual trans like in my current car, clutch progression is overrated to me at the moment, because i dont go around drifting everywhere and id rather use a bike on a track day

TL;DR:
Manual if its not a dual clutch auto
Im not sure if it has been changed or not, but the GTI I drove a couple years ago with the DSG dual clutch would not hold the gear. It shifted just before redline, which is fine in noremal day-to-day driving but anything more spirited or on a track I think it would be kind of annoying having to shift again in the corner.
