Well one thing that's very noticeable is that, with all the grip, I really can't spin the wheels anymore. It certainly was fun spinning the wheels very easily and controllably with the stock set up. But now the car feels more planted and it's putting more power down. It definitely was fun making all that noise though.
Overall, it seems more firmly planted, which maybe makes it seem a bit less spry, but it's hard to tell. The tires do feel excellent ripping around a corner at speed.
At first, I thought that there was a lot of added road noise, but I think that was just because the tires were overinflated. Now deflated to around 35psi each, they seem nice and quiet.
The wheels fit with no rubbing issues. The 8.5 +44 really fits the wheel wells great...a huge improvement over stock. I was worried that the fronts might poke and the rears might look too sunken, but honestly I think it looks great and not hella-aggressive or hella-lame or anything. And I don't think I'll feel the need to mess with spacers to be perfectly happy.
We'll have to see how it looks after a mild drop.
